TidyShot is built to operate locally on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following types of information:

Personal Identifiable Information (PII):

We do not collect your name, email address, location data, IP address, device identifiers, or any other data that could identify you personally.

Usage Data:

We do not track your app usage, activity within the app, or any data related to how you use your device or other applications.

Content Data:

Any content you interact with through TidyShot — including your screenshots, recognized text (OCR), and detected source applications — is processed exclusively on your device and is never sent to our servers or any third party.

2. Information We Process (On-Device Only)

TidyShot may access certain information on your local device solely for the purpose of providing its intended functionality. This processing occurs entirely on your device and this information is never transmitted externally:

Screenshots and Images:

To organize, categorize, and manage your screenshots, TidyShot processes image files stored on your device. This includes reading screenshot metadata (such as timestamps and file names) to provide sorting and organization features.

Text Recognition (OCR):

TidyShot uses on-device optical character recognition to extract text from your screenshots. All OCR processing is performed locally using Apple's built-in Vision framework, and recognized text is stored only on your device.

Source Application Detection:

TidyShot may identify which application a screenshot originated from in order to provide automatic categorization. This detection is performed locally and the information is never shared externally.

System Permissions:

TidyShot may request certain system permissions (e.g., access to your Screenshots folder or Accessibility permissions). These permissions are exclusively used for the app's core functionality. Any data accessed via these permissions is processed locally on your device and is never stored externally, transmitted, or shared.

3. In-App Purchases

TidyShot offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional features. Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or transaction details.

4. Third-Party Services

TidyShot does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. We do not use third-party SDKs that collect user data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Since TidyShot does not collect or store any personal or usage data from your device, there is no data to retain or delete on our part. All processing is transient and local to your device. When you uninstall TidyShot, any configuration files stored on your device are removed by the operating system.

6. Children's Privacy

TidyShot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information from our records.
